So my office of 12 software engineers decided to get a succulent variety bundle so we could all have our own little succulents on our desks, and a coworker promptly set up a Slack channel called green-thumb with a bot that would remind us to water our plants every Monday morning, and another coworker quickly suggested we react to the reminders with a plant emoji so we know whether we already watered that week. One of my coworkers changed his avatar to the succulent. Another one 3D-printed a teddy bear looking pot.
